Remember effective this date, ALL credit card processing systems MUST be hiding all but the last four digits of the customers credit card number. Exhibit Space, Sponsorships Available for 20th Annual S&D Conference
Exhibit space and sponsorships are still available for the NBAA 20th Annual Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Conference, to be held next year from January 13 to 16 at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in California. In recognition of the event’s 20th anniversary, the theme for the 2009 Conference is “Honoring Our Heritage – Reaching for New Heights.” The three-day event will feature a number of Education Sessions and Schedulers Professional Development Program courses addressing key issues for the profession. Julie Clark with the permanent Stinson Award Trophy
The National Aeronautic Association (NAA) honors Captain Julie Clark (retired) as the 2008 Katherine and Marjorie Stinson Award recipient. Thrilled to be honored at the NAA Fall Banquet in Arlington, Virginia, Julie proudly received the Stinson Award November 3, 2008.
Created in 1997, the Stinson Award is bestowed upon a living woman for an outstanding and enduring contribution, a meritorious flight, or a singular technical development in the field of aviation, aeronautics, space or related sciences.
Being honored for her “determination, enthusiasm and professional accomplishments as an airline pilot and air show performer that has provided inspiration and motivation to many women aspiring to a career in aviation”, Julie’s name has been added to the permanent Stinson Award Trophy which resides in the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.
In 2007, Julie was honored by the NAA and the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) as the recipient of the Paul Tissandier Diploma.
After a quick flight back to California from Virginia, Julie set out for the AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) Convention in San Jose, California.
With more than 10,000 aircraft devotees in attendance, the AOPA convention gathers folks from across North America to share ideas about general aviation, aircraft ownership, training and safety. The convention provides a venue for pilots to engage in educational and safety seminars, meet with general aviation vendors and suppliers, and view over 50 aircraft on display.

Julie “worked the booth”, meeting and greeting fans and friends, signing autographs and handing out information on the new Fly Buys program!
